Job Title: Full Stack WordPress Engineers

WPSPIN LLC is seeking a skilled Full Stack WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WordPress and WooCommerce projects. The role involves working on diverse projects, including theme development using Underscores, creating Gutenberg blocks, working with APIs, and page speed optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins.
- Create and integrate Gutenberg blocks, patterns, reusable blocks, and ACF blocks.
- Optimize page speed for WordPress websites.
- Utilize plugins and themes including WooCommerce, Elementor, Dokan, GravityForms, ACF, Beaver Builder, Divi, Avada, and more.
- Collaborate with the team to design and launch new features.
- Maintain code integrity and organization.
- Implement security and data protection.
- Integrate with third-party Restful APIs.
- Work on multiple projects at once, collaborating with other developers, designers, project managers, and strategists on a variety of engagements.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Help shape the future of our team by contributing to strategy and planning
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering.
- Strong understanding of front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and React (a plus).
- Experience in designing and developing responsive websites.
- Proficiency in PHP and object-oriented back-end development.
- Solid understanding of WordPress hooks and CPTs.
- Knowledge of interacting with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
- Proficiency in code versioning tools like Git.
- Comfortable with debugging tools like Firebug and Chrome Inspector.
- Proficiency in converting layouts and wireframes into working HTML pages.
- Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and solutions.
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma, XD, and Sketch.
- Experience with liquid and grid-based layouts.
- Proficiency with GitHub and understanding of Gitflow.
- Knowledge of LESS-SASS and setting up infrastructure for the same.
- Experience in developing WCAG 2.2 compliant codes.
- Familiarity with DevOps environments like WHM/CPanel, Docker, Pantheon, and WPengine.
- Ability to work from our office 5 days/week from 12 pm to 8 pm Cairo Timezone.
Hiring Process:
- We will start by giving you one small project to test your ability. This will be paid work.
- You will submit an estimated hours to finish that project along with your understanding and questions.
- If the estimate sounds genuine, we will create an hourly contract for that project.
- If done correctly and without any back and forth, we will hire you immediately.
Note: The interview process will involve booking a time with the CEO to evaluate your technical and communication skills. Please mind the time.
